La Academia de las Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas dio a conocer la mañana de este martes las nominaciones a la 94ª entrega de los premios Oscar.
The Power of the Dog, cinta dirigida por Jane Campion, lidera las nominaciones con 12 posibles premios, incluidos mejor película, directora y actor principal.
Le sigue en número de nominaciones la épica de ciencia ficción Dune del director Denis Villeneuve; aunque la mayoría son en categorías técnicas.
México quedó fuera de las nominaciones a Mejor Película Internacional; sin embargo, Guillermo del Toro figuró en el apartado de mejor película con Nightmare Alley.
